“Almost everything in my house was framed by you!”
— R. M.
At Art’s Desire, we believe that custom framing is both craftsmanship and art, and we approach each challenge in this light. In 1981, present owner Connie White Jones framed her first piece of art, and in 1983 ended up buying that very frame shop in Gaston Mall, Gastonia, NC. She renamed her business The Frame Shop, and remained at the Gaston Mall location through 2005. In 2005, Mrs. Jones moved the shop to Hoffman Village in Gastonia. In addition to a new location, the store’s name was changed to Art’s Desire. In 2015, the store was relocated to its present location at 520 S. New Hope Rd. in Gastonia.
The Custom Framing Experience You Want
Our framing experience and expertise have kept our customers coming back for all these years. Our customers know that every care and concern is given to their piece of art, memorabilia, or needlework. We frame according to the highest industry standards.
We frame everything from prints and posters to needlework, photographs, flags, sports jerseys, baby dresses, diplomas, antique fishing lures, military medals, and golf clubs. Our shadowbox frames have been built to accommodate almost anything that could possibly be framed. Some of the most unusual objects we have framed are a clarinet, a U.S. flag, tennis shoes, a football, a baseball bat, and antique tools.
We take the utmost care in preserving our customer’s art, which is why we utilize acid-free materials and conservation glass. We invite you to take a look in our framing gallery.
Fair Pricing Without the Games
We have always priced our custom framing as fairly as possible, and we never inflate our prices just so we can offer big discounts. That means you can be sure you are getting the best value.
